We aim to provide our clients with a wide range of services to ensure that their needs are fully met.

From our centrally based manufacturing premises, BPR offer a full range of architectural metalwork products, either as standard “off the shelf” products or bespoke individually manufactured items to suit specific projects. Our storage & distribution facilities can result in large volumes of products being manufactured and available to suit individual project requirements. Products are all available in a range of finishes from Galvanised / Zinc, Powder Coated, Stainless Steel and Glazed to name but a few.


In addition to the design, manufacture and installation of architectural metalwork and structural steelwork services we provide, we also offer both hard and soft landscaping systems. These complement the type of installations we specialise in which facilitates the procurement and project management processes for our clients.

Architectural Metalwork

All of our architectural metalwork is designed, manufactured and installed to extremely high standards. We offer a wide range of products and work closely with our clients to ensure we understand their metalwork requirements.

Structural Steelwork

Working in conjunction with Clients, Architects and Structural Engineers alike, our in house design team will produce fabrication / fitting drawings where structural steelwork may be required. BPR can offer full fabrication and fitting services including crane / mobile access platform as required.

Juliet Balconies

A Juliet balcony is different to a larger ‘walk on’ balcony with its access to open outdoor space. Providing a ‘guard’ or security barrier to sliding doors or inward opening full-height French Doors on a first-floor room or above, a Juliet balcony lets in more natural light, and fresh air when the doors are open.

Using glass panels – with or without a handrail – creates an elegant looking Juliet balcony with no railings or bars to obstruct the view. Glass is also the ideal low maintenance solution, with no time-consuming or costly painting for iron or timber structures to worry about. An occasional wipe-down of the glass is all that is required to maintain its good looks.


Terrace / Roof Top Railings and Screens

Inconspicuous yet elegant, glass roof terrace railings complement a wide range of architectural styles. Frameless railings are slick and almost-invisible, they work beautifully on modern and period properties. Handrail balustrades have a more definite presence and provide extra safety reassurance.

Structural Balconies

These are balconies constructed in a manner so that the balcony protrudes from the face of the building without any visible supports other than the fixing to the face of the building. The weight and imposed loads are supported by cantilevering the structure off the wall. These balconies will not need or have gallow brackets or chains. This type of balcony, while possessing the most aesthetic end result, will require to be designed in advance and will impose larger point loads on the building. This type of balcony cannot be added on but must be predesigned.

Railings

Metal railing are preferred because they are more durable than alternate fencing options. Metal fence rails are a classic choice for a front garden because they provide security and appear ornate. Our metal railings

include standard features like ball tops and hoop tops.

Gates

The benefit of choosing steel security gates for your home or business, is the fact that the metal itself is extremely durable. These gates are designed for outdoor use, and as the UK has a reputation for some pretty wild weather at times, the metal itself needs to be able to withstand harsh weather conditions and damage from the elements, all our gates are galvanised and powder coated to a colour of our customers choice. Steel is also a metal that is very easy to maintain, which again, is good news for home and business owners alike.

Ballustrades

We manufacture and install steel balustrades to suit architectural designs, or industrial requirements. Balustrades are functional but they can also be dramatic. With all our Steel Balustrades safety and security are combined with good design to provide buildings with an enduring feature. All designs meet the relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.

Canopies

Every steel canopy produced is ad-hoc to the clients requirements. A steel canopy is usually used over entrances of building to cover and provide shelter from bad weather or as a decoration. It can be made in many designs from single small canopy on top of the door to mesmerising large entrance walkway. Steel canopies have not only a decorative purpose but also a practical one. They provide great shelter from bad weather such as rain or hot sunlight.

External Walkways

Raised walkways (sometimes referred to as a skyway or skybridge) is an architectural element that gives people access between buildings or along designated routes. This type of raised walkway may be covered to protect the users from the elements. Raised walkways can be installed on roofs to provide access to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Full Turnkey Packages

Drawing on our wealth of experience, in house design and manufacturing capabilities, logistic infrastructure and complementary landscaping service, we can offer our clients a full turnkey package.  From the initial meeting, we can project manage all of their needs and facilitate the procurement and all relevant processes needed.  We also ensure that all health and safety regulations are met and adhered to both in the manufacture and installation of our products but on site where we are responsible.

Commercial Consultancy

With our in house team of experienced commercial staff, BPR offer commercial consultancy services which may be of benefit where clients are at pre-construction stage.

Both Andy Read and Dave Pearce have extensive experience and knowledge and have an understanding of what a project will require throughout all stages.

Hard Landscaping Systems

Working in conjunction with a number of industry leading suppliers, BPR are able
to carry out a wide range of hard landscaping installations including the following:

  • Furniture
  • Astroturf
  • Paving

Soft Landscaping

In conjunction with our Partner nurseries based in Solihull BPR are able to offer a full supply & installation of soft landscaping schemes. Clients often find this service invaluable when BPR are engaged in works to Public Open Spaces or similar, as our skillset enables us to offer a full “one stop shop” solution which is of particular benefit on sites which may be limited in regards to space / access.
